The Curvy Revolution is here and Shavonne Dorsey Designs introduced her imaginative vision of it at Chicago Fashion Connect’s November mixer. We only came to get juicy Stiletto Gossip but found ourselves pretty impressed with this down-to-earth designer and her custom pieces for sizes 12-24 .
Shavonne Says:
The biggest misconception of full-figured women is the idea that black makes them look slimmer. In reality, understanding your body is important and dressing appropriately makes you look slimmer.
Shavonne appreciates the luxury of making a connection with her clients. She raved about the convenience and connections that social networking has created for her work to be seen and appreciated. “I want to know what my clientele needs are and how they feel about what they wear.”
Shavonne can be spotted all over Chicago indulging fashionistas in Trunk Shows (next one December 3rd), In-Home Fashion Parties and soon via Online shopping. Visit her online for event details and appointments.
